Cunit will host the celebration of “Día de Andalucía” on March 15th, an event held to commemorate and better understand Andalusian culture. The events will begin at 11 a.m. in the church of Sant Cristòfol with a mass sung by the Choir of the House of Andalusia of the Baix Penedès of Cunit. From 12 p.m., the celebration will move to Plaça del Casal, where the homage to the Andalusian flag will take place with the interpretation of the anthems of Andalusia and Catalonia.

Calafell Històric organizes a visit to the Hermitage of Sant Miquel so that everyone can learn its secrets and history of the Romanesque to Gothic transition that dates back to 1238. It is known that in a visit in 1777, the altar located inside the hermitage was dedicated to Saint Miquel, who shares the name with the building. It burned down during the Civil War in 1936, but the Calafell town council restored it in 1991.
The activity begins with a welcome reception at the 17th century Cal Cassanyes farmhouse, where we will meet "Titus", the uncle of the house. Thanks to Titus we have been able to establish a collaboration agreement with the Community of Family Uncles of Catalonia to help them reach Cal Cassanyes. At the same farmhouse we will give each family their map to find the uncle among the vineyards and olive trees. From this moment on everyone can get started to start the search. Once the uncle is found, he carries a personalized letter for each child.
