In Vins el Cep we offer you the possibility to taste, in its place of origin, one of the 10 Cavas of Paraje Calificado that currently exist in the market: the Cava Claror.

We will start the activity from the winery, enjoying a short walk through the vineyards until we reach Can Prats, our Paraje Calificado.

The harvest is a glorious time. The wineries collect the fruit of the whole year of and the entire Penedès smells of harvest. The weather is also nice: the sun is losing its harshness, the vineyard takes on golden tones and people have a more restful energy.

Cal Mata is the perfect farmhouse for large groups and for family activities that will discover the world of wine, sales and vineyards. For adults you will also enjoy a wine tasting from local wineries, all finished with a group meal for an exceptional day.

We offer you a different experience, with the visit to the farm starting with the farmhouse of the seventeenth century. Exceptionally we will visit the ground floor, usually closed to the public. Then we will continue the visit paying special attention to the vineyards that surround the property, about 60 hectares all of them organic, and we will talk about the harvest, which we still do today by hand. At the viewpoint of the fir grove, next to the oldest vineyard on the estate, we will stop to enjoy a snack and a drink.

We will meet at Celler Nou de Canals & Munné where we will visit the organic vineyards with one of our farmers, where we will learn all the secrets of current Viticulture.

Next we will carry out a Regenerative Harvest workshop, we will taste the grapes taken from the same vine and we will stomp the grapes with our feet in the old fashioned way. To round it off we will make a Great Picnic with grilled sausage, peppers and aubergines, toast bread and loads of cava and grape juice for children.

Experience the Thursday evenings of May with a glass of wine.
On Thursdays in May (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th) from 7:00 to 10:30 pm, come to Carrer del Comerç, to our pop-up Wine Bar. Enjoy the evenings and discover the history of this essential street for the wine trade. A pairing of wine, music, and images from the past of a unique space.
Each Thursday you'll find a different winery offering their products.

The Musicveu Solidarity Festival organizes on Friday, June 7 from 8 p.m., in the exclusive gardens of the new Hotel Boutique Font de la Caña by Cal Blay, the second edition of the solidarity dinner that will have the collaboration of outstanding chefs from territory of the Vegueria Penedès.
