Through didactic and immersive audiovisuals you will get closer to the history and culture of cava from new perspectives. You will be able to interact with key elements of the cavamaking process through animations, aromas, music, which will make you enjoy a playful tour.
Next, paint, color and decorate an original label for a bottle of cava, developing creativity. You can take your creation home.

MEDITERRÁNEO directed by Marcel Barrena, begins in 2015 when Oscar (Eduard Fernández) and Gerard (Dani Rovira) travel to the island of Lesbos (Greece) impacted by the photograph of a child drowned in the waters of the Mediterranean. When they arrive, they discover a frightening reality: every day thousands of people risk their lives at sea fleeing armed conflicts without anyone doing any rescue work.
A visit to the Sant Valentí complex takes you on a historical tour that allows you to discover the Roman mosaic, Romanesque architecture, Gothic paintings and their evolution to the present day.

3 types of cavas will be tasted: Brut Reserva, Brut Nature and Rosé Reserva, and the experts from the Vilarnau wineries will reveal their secrets and nuances. The tasting will be accompanied by an appetizer from the Vilarnau Wine Bar.
A cultural route that symbolically follows the path taken by the Hospitallers of Sant Joan de Jerusalem when in 1306 they left Sant Valentí de Les Cabanyes as their main headquarters in the Penedès to move to Sant Joan de Vilafranca.
What does cava smell like? Macabeo, xarel·lo and parellada grapes are the traditional varieties used in the production of cava and each grape provides different and characteristic aromas: floral, fruity, spicy, balsamic...
Thanks to smell we can know many things about a cava. Find out and put your senses to the test in this visit and workshop at the Cava Centre.
We will have a welcome glass of cava and then we will continue to ride 4x4 cars to enjoy a route through vineyard trails. We wll reach the Espiells hermitage, get to the Miranda viewpoint with privileged views of the area, where we will spot Vilarnau from there. Upon return, we will take a wine tour that includes the tasting of two cavas.
At the end, visitors are welcomed to stay at our Wine Bar for an aperitif.
24 Cava wineries open their doors to 24 renowned writers to present their books on Sunday 24 April. The events will be accompanied by tastings of Cavas, pairings, visits to wineries, live music, activities for the little ones and snacks and brunchs.
