Castellví de la Marca

Surrounded by vineyards and forests, Castellví de la Marca is scattered across several population centres, of which La Múnia is the administrative capital. The town maintains its rural character, and gives its name to the frontier position of the Marca Hispànica (Spanish March). Its main activity is agriculture, prominently vine-growing, the basis for great quality wines produced by several wineries in the municipality.
