What does it involve
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Penedès Wine Route, Artcava has created the Artcava Atelier series, whic was created to bring together two essential expressions of the Penedès: the culture of cava and the culture of handmade creation. It is an annual programme of artistic and creative craft workshops (ceramics, flowers, painting, jewellery, textiles, colour and more), designed for guests to discover Artcava from a contemporary, sensory and participatory perspective: not only as a winery, but as a place of life, inspiration and experience.
Artcava is the winery and enotourism project based at Masia Can Batlle. La Manela is the on-site wine bar and restaurant within the same estate: our meeting point, where we welcome guests, where the workshops take place and where we close the experience with a glass of cava and, if desired, a gastronomic proposal.
Each session combines professional guidance with an inspiring setting — vineyards, historic farmhouse and landscape — and a simple, authentic way of doing things: create, taste and share. The result is a relaxed, social and genuine experience designed to disconnect from routine and reconnect with the territory and with others through the pleasure of making something with your own hands.
In short, Mediterranean in its purest form: light, conversation, a shared table and cava in the glass while real things happen. A fresh and contemporary way to experience wine, far from predictable winery tours and much closer to what truly matters: enjoying, creating and celebrating.
