A celebration with a taste of tradition, landscape and good wine!
Every autumn, Sitges dresses up to celebrate one of its most emblematic and anticipated events: the Harvest Festival and Wine Show, a perfect combination of culture, gastronomy and wine-growing roots.
With more than 60 years of history, the Harvest Festival pays homage to the town's wine-making past, especially linked to Malvasia wine, an indigenous variety and symbol of Sitges' identity. In addition to the Pregó and the Pressing of the First Most, we can also see more fun and unique traditions, such as the Grape Treaders Competition or the weighing of de la Pubilla and l'Hereu de Sitges in wine bottles.
The Wine Show becomes a meeting point throughout the weekend, filling the Passeig de la Ribera and La Fragata with a display of wineries from Garraf and the DO Penedès, where you can taste wines, cavas and malvasias in an open space, next to the sea.
