What does it involve
The sea was always very present in Pau Casals' life: the sea of Sant Salvador, the sea of Puerto Rico... He himself often said that if he hadn't been a musician, he would have wanted to be a lighthouse keeper.
Inspired by this deep connection with the sea, the 2025 Musical Pairings take us on a journey through flavors, wines and melodies with the sea as the common thread.
The gastronomic pairings will be created by the Terra i Taula collective, formed by producers and chefs from Baix Penedès, who have designed a combination of dishes and wines designed to captivate all the senses.
The musical accompaniment will be provided by Xicranda, a duet of habaneras and popular songs formed by Guillem Pyaró and Martí Santacana, who will provide the perfect soundtrack to this unique experience in the gardens of the Villa Casals.
