What does it involve
The Day of All Saints is the main event organized by the Castellers de Vilafranca every November 1 in the Plaça de la Vila in Vilafranca del Penedès. The first time this day took place was in 1987, setting a fixed date for the day of the colla (group)t o be celebrated in mid-November. All the colles cast that have participated throughout the different editions have brought their best castells (human towers).
As every year, the day of All Saints begins at 9 am, with the Matinades through the streets of Vilafranca. At half past ten in Cal Figarot, headquarters and rehearsal venue, there is a breakfast for castellers and castelleres and at 11 in the morning there will be a meeting of the collesin Plaça Jaume I. The day will be in the Plaça from the Village at 12 noon.
