III Day of grape harvest and grape stomping in the mountain Penedès

We will meet at La Masia La Torreta, a farmhouse built in 1714. Here we are preparing a day for you to delve into the world of cava and, above all, the most important period: The harvest. A day of discovery of the surroundings, activities, fun, experimentation, delving into winemaking history and the rural world and, above all, very good cava, gastronomy and the long-awaited grape stomping with beautiful views of Montserrat.

The Festa del Most, which traditionally celebrated the end of the harvest, revolves around the land and its products, where local wine and cava producers are one of the main protagonists. Come see how the boots are made, taste the local products and enjoy an afternoon in good company and good music.

Sitgestiu 2023 has programmed 32 cultural activities in a variety of formats to fill the July and August agenda. Opera recitals, classical and jazz concerts, castanets, heritage tours, guided tours, cinema, sensory experiences, wine tourism dinners and family workshops make up an intense and varied programme aimed at both local and local audiences and tourists.

This July comes the third edition of the Sparkling Wine Tasting Cycle as one of the outstanding activities that take place in summer around sparkling wines in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.

These tasting sessions will be held in the Pati de Can Guineu, a historic open-air space that is prepared to host summer cultural activities and events.

The monastery of Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, currently the village's parish church, was a Benedictine priory founded in the 11th century, with almost 800 years of monastic history. The visit to the monastery allows you to get to know the various spaces that make up the architectural complex.

The harvest is a unique moment to taste the musts that will later become wines and cavas. We will taste different varieties of must in different stages of production. Then we will enjoy brunch with catalan bread with tomato, cold meat, cheeses, fruit and sweets. All this in a unique setting overlooking the vineyards.

A night among the vineyards, under the stars, where the astronomy, the art of wine pairing and music will make this evening an exclusive memory.

This year, together with the astronomers of the l’Observatori Astronòmic del Parc del Garraf, we will know all the curiosities of the Venus planet, we will observe this planet through Galileo's telescope, and we will talk about the drawings that Galileo made himself about the phases of this planet.

From Cal Feru we continue to work on our commitment to the dissemination and enrichment of wine culture, and that is why the meeting of emerging producers of sparkling wines from the Penedès is now in its second edition.

The aim of this meeting is to continue to claim the role of the sparkling wines of our territory: their interpretation of the landscape, the varieties and the different methods for making them.
